When and why did you start your streaming journey, and what initially inspired
you to join the NSFW streaming community?
LSV: In 2019, I was shuffling between jobs and going through some big growing pains; I had
just moved to a new state and was getting out of a tough living situation. I had been
doing nude photography for a year beforehand and, as funny as it is, NSFW streaming
felt way less intimidating to approach at first over SFW. Even though I had always
wanted to stream, I couldn’t ever settle on what exactly I wanted to do so I never
actively pursued it.
I ended up meeting a fellow NSFW streamer at one of the last jobs I had who
encouraged me to try streaming and after a few years I finally think I have the hang of
things (sorta).
Why did you choose Joystick.tv as a streaming platform?
LSV: I had come back to streaming from a 6 month hiatus and was looking for a new place to
grow a new community. I had moved away from a handful of streaming sites for reasons
like UI, Traffic, Usability; I wanted a place that would work for myself as well as all the
people I wanted to invite into my community! The community is full of creators, staff,
and long-time patrons who want to see the site flourish and it’s so apparent when you
interact with them whether it’s for troubleshooting help or stream advice. After some
reassurance from other fellow streamers and staff, I finally called the site home in 2022
and they haven’t been able to keep me away since!
What do you enjoy the most about streaming on Joystick.tv?
LSV: There’s a ton I love about the site, truly I feel spoiled sometimes! First, the dev team
really goes the extra mile on so many things; they are incredibly helpful especially to
newcomers, they offer such great guides and tools for building your streams, and really
strive to constantly improve the experience of the site for everyone. Second, I love
having a place where I can share almost everything I do! In 2024, you have to have a
dozen accounts for photo sharing, live streaming, video sharing, NSFW pages and SFW
pages. It’s ridiculous! I have plenty of pages catering to different demographics but
being able to have a place that I can sprinkle in all the different things I’m doing is so
refreshing. Everyone gets what they are looking for, SFW and NSFW!
What video games/hobbies do you prefer to stream?
LSV: I tend to stream things that give me a reason to get dressed up or decorate my space. I
love putting together outfits, costumes, makeup looks; I love getting dressed and
undressed for any occasion! I love RPGS filled with smart writing and great characters,
as well as being spooked by scary horror games. You’ll often catch me seducing
Michael Mains in Dead by Daylight or shooting Vampire Scum in Vampire the
Masquerade; but these days I’m terrorizing Arkham Asylum inmates in Batman: Arkham
Asylum. I even just had a fantastic patron send me a new tripod and phone stand to
start trying some cooking streams, bacon pancake stream coming soon!
What do you do when you’re not streaming?
LSV: I take the phrase ‘touch grass’ very seriously so I try hard to spend as much time as I
can outside. I love nature so I’m always trying to go out backpacking, hiking new trails,
and checking out lush camping spots where I can unplug. Even when I’m not in the
mountains or the trees, I’m skating around as the local skateboard bum checking out
little hidden gems in the local community.
If I’m inside, more often than not, I’m surrounded by my gaggle furballs writing my little
stories and listening to metal music with my fiancé.
