For MasterYokai and CountexxBunny, one of those moments became something neither of them will ever forget: a surprise proposal, live on Joystick.tv.
The couple, who began streaming together on Joystick.tv in March 2026, have made their channels a space where gaming, creativity, and community all come together. So, when MasterYokai decided it was time to formally ask Bunny to marry him, streaming felt like the perfect place to do it.
A Proposal Worth Keeping Secret
MasterYokai had known for some time that he wanted to propose. He also knew he didn’t want to do it in a traditional way. “Co-streaming on Joystick has been something that we have both enjoyed and is special to us,” he explained. “I decided this would be a memorable and unique way to ask Bunny to marry me.” There was just one problem: how do you surprise someone you spend so much time streaming alongside? The answer involved a little planning, a few trusted friends, and some very careful misdirection.
The couple didn’t have their rings yet, but they did have something meaningful that MasterYokai could use. They share a collar with “Bunny” engraved on the inside, and before the stream began, MasterYokai quietly took it with him. He also let a few fellow streamers in on the secret. Then, shortly after they went live, he put his plan into motion. MasterYokai pretended that a viewer had redeemed a tip item that involved both of them. Instead, it was the moment he’d been waiting for. He asked Bunny to marry him.
MasterYokai knew how important a formal proposal was to Bunny, but Bunny had no idea when or where he would pop the question. “I had no idea it would happen on stream,” Bunny said. The surprise made the moment even more fitting for the couple. “The moment felt perfect and weird and unique to us,” they said. “I love him and JSTV so much.” Rather than being a conventional proposal in a conventional setting, it was unmistakably theirs: spontaneous, personal, a little unexpected, and shared with the community that had become such an important part of their lives.
Finding Each Other Through Streaming
For MasterYokai and Bunny, streaming isn’t simply something they do together. It’s become another way for them to connect. When they began streaming on Joystick.tv, they embraced the identities that are an authentic part of their relationship, presenting themselves as Master and Bunny and openly sharing their real-life BDSM dynamic and genuine interests.
For Bunny, that openness has also created space for creative interests, including a love of cybergoth-themed content. “Before streaming we rarely gamed together,” MasterYokai said. “Carving out a specific time to stream every week has allowed us to do that while building a community and meeting other great streamers who have become amazing and supportive friends.” Bunny feels the same sense of connection. “Streaming on JSTV elevates not just Yokai and I’s relationship, but we love being part of our friends’ lives,” Bunny said.
More Than Just an Audience
That last point gets to the heart of what makes their story particularly special. The people watching aren’t simply viewers passing through a channel. Over time, some have become friends, collaborators, and an important part of the couple’s lives. “After getting established, we started making awesome, high quality friends,” Bunny said. “The community is caring, supportive, and overall good for my mental health.”
For MasterYokai and Bunny, streaming has become a way to build relationships beyond their own channel — to celebrate other creators, spend time with friends, and become part of something larger. It’s also a community with excellent taste in attractive people. “As a bonus, all our JSTV friends are incredibly sexy,” Bunny added.
The proposal may have been about two people, but it happened within a community that has become meaningful to both of them.
