Joystick.tv Interview With Professional Life Coach Pixie

I’m Pixie! I’m a mostly SFW streamer, a professional life coach, and an amateur dancer. I’m 38 and I live in Canada with my two husbands. We’ve been in a stable, loving, V relationship since 2012.

When and why did you start your streaming journey, and what initially inspired you to join the NSFW streaming community?

Pixie: In 2021, I felt called to create “a safe space for unsafe topics” where people could express themselves freely and receive support. I joined the NSFW streaming community because it allows for the discussion of mature topics with other adults. I also want to demonstrate solidarity with sex positive culture.

Why did you choose Joystick.tv as a streaming platform?

Pixie: Joystick.tv was highly recommended by members of my chat. I was furthermore enticed by the offer of 80 percent revenue, which accurately indicated Joystick.tv’s support and respect for its streamers.

What do you enjoy the most about streaming on Joystick.tv?

Pixie: I’ve finally found a “third place” where I belong! Third places are places outside home and work that are: open and inviting, comfortable and informal, convenient, unpretentious, there are regulars, conversation is the main activity, and laughter is frequent.

I feel valued by the entire community: chat, staff, and other streamers. Chat is incredibly caring and respectful. Joystick staff is responsive and supportive. Streamers hype up and cheer one another’s endeavours.

What video games/hobbies do you prefer to stream?

Pixie: Most of my streams are called “Office Hours” because they are an opportunity for viewers to come in and get free life coaching or simply vent. My favorite stream activity is the resulting discussions that I facilitate which can be about topics like self-esteem, social skills, and mental wellness. It often looks like group therapy.

Otherwise, I’m currently playing what might be my favorite game of all time: “The Message from Deep Space”. It’s about translating an alien language, starting from the universal language of math and exploring fundamental chemistry, physics, astronomy, biology, and linguistics.

Often you might catch me dancing on stream. I use dancing as a way to model self-improvement and persistence in the face of self-doubt. Clients who have seen me dance have voiced wonder after I told them how awkward I have felt compared to how confident I’ve appeared.

I also do strip streams! Every few months, I dance for hours, and strip down to nipple tape and panties. They’re a great opportunity for me to showcase my learning and increasing confidence, while expressing affection for my audience.

What do you do when you’re not streaming?

Pixie: By day, I work as a professional tutorial fairy at Pixie Life Coaching. I offer appointments via Discord and, notably, VRChat.

Most evenings, I am either taking belly dance classes or I’m streaming as a vtuber on Ashes’ channel. Currently, we’re playing “The Last Sovereign,” a sexy RPG with excellent writing and art. There’s six of us voicing all of the parts, 3 streamers and 3 members of chat we roped in. That’s another thing I love about this site. There isn’t a harsh divide between streamers and chat. We’re all just people, here to have a good time.
