The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. The AFSP creates a culture that is smart about mental health by engaging in funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, and supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide.
The inaugural charity stream for the AFSP in 2023 raised $860, and this year the target goal is $1,500. Here is a breakdown on how each donation can help the AFSP:
