Joystick.tv Interview With NSFW Streamer Pup Blue aka Lthrfx
Hey everyone I’m Pup Blue! Aka Lthrfx (which is just Leather Fox without vowels for the confused)! I’ve been around the furry community since the mid 90’s and the leather and pup crowd since the early 2000’s and I’m completely brand new to the streamer community, having just started a handful of months ago, and I’m super excited to be here!
When and why did you start your streaming journey, and what initially inspired you to join the NSFW streaming community?
Lthrfx: I’ve never been interviewed before, I feel so excited/blushy! My streaming journey is actually a very recent development though the circumstances go back a few years. I had nearly finished my master’s degree in molecular biology when Covid hit and all hell broke loose in my life. Me and my S.O. had planned to move across the country after I finished my return to school and had already started the preparations then BAM! Covid hits, I’m locked out of the lab, all my bacteria strains die off due to neglect and I’m unable to finish my project. I could have continued and worked around it, but things were already in motion for the move so I bailed out. When we got to our new digs I ended up working at a community college for a short while and was really enjoying the job but the administration was turning it into a toxic atmosphere. Eventually I had enough when they lied and threw a student worker under the bus to push an agenda and quit in protest. Well by then I was feeling pretty defeated until an old friend of mine, Vargen (who recently just started streaming here himself after I did) mentioned Joystick to me and said he thought I would be perfect for the place. So I dug in, looked around and said what the hell and threw myself head first into the deep end around September 2025. I had never really even watched streamers other than the occasional Youtube game history video I was sent by friends before this so it was a bit overwhelming to say the least! As for the NSFW community. I had dabbled in porn and modeling a little for fun before and I really dug it and discovered my exhibitionist streak, so it was only natural to gravitate that way again!
Why did you choose Joystick.tv as a streaming platform?
Lthrfx: As I mentioned before, it was suggested to me, but I definitely dug the vibe here. It reminded me of early furry conventions from the early 2000s. A small community of like minded weirdos who all loved the place they were at, everyone sorta knew each other, and it was a bit easier to stand out. The community here is extremely friendly and I definitely like that as an adult only platform I can be totally myself with all the lewdness without fear of judgement. The site itself was pretty intuitive as well and easy to get set up for a complete newbie like me. The premise also really struck a chord with me. It was explained to me as a mash-up of twitch and onlyfans which was right up my alley. I was raised on video games, with my very first system being the intellivision that my older siblings had abandoned, and I’ve watched the gaming industry itself grow and change with me always by my side, even when I ran away to the San Francisco gay community as soon as I dropped out of college the first time >.> *cough* Which really helped mold the other half of me who got enamored with the porn, pup and leather community there.
What do you enjoy the most about streaming on Joystick.tv?
Lthrfx: The concept is way up on that list as well as the friendly community. I can be a crazy exhibitionist on here and folks just dig it. It really helps me get outta my shell a bit too. For someone who loves to show off and people please as much as I do, I ‘m very socially awkward and quiet in person unless I’m with my core group and the community here is so comforting that I can get out of that shell and get out there and be myself even though it’s not my normal comfort zone. I’ve never had someone come on to grief or complain about what’s going on and I really enjoy just vibing with my viewers too, they make it all worthwhile.
What video games/hobbies do you prefer to stream?
f: I like to keep things as fresh as I can and mix it up, I’ll play any type of game for the most part, but (J)RPGs are definitely top tier gaming for me. I also really dig streaming VR gameplay like Beatsaber and Phasmophobia. Growing up VR was always the elusive ‘pinnacle’ of what I thought video games could be: “Oh my gosh I actually get to be IN the game?!” but it was always clunky and prohibitively expensive before, so now that it’s easily accessible and getting more and more intense I’m really in a bit of gaming heaven. Not to mention when it’s -20 F outside and I’m locked inside, it’s nice to throw on the headset and meet up with some old friends around the country for a day of sun and fun playing mini golf on the beach.
What do you do when you’re not streaming?
Lthrfx: Aside from even more gaming? I train regularly as an olympic style fencer (foil and epee) and I compete nationally. That lately eats up a large portion of my free time these days though I also love to build and make things and learn new skills constantly too. I’ve learned how to lockpick, built my own sex machines, constructed full suits of leather plate armor, fursuits, dabbled in a few instruments like the violin, ukulele and theremin, love dancing at the club and have DJed at night clubs and conventions. I play nerd poker (aka Magic), practice archery, raise chickens and love gardening during the warm months, growing much of my own food. Otherwise I just hang with friends and my hyena (I especially dig just vegging out on the couch with movies and cuddles). I’m definitely the epitome of a jack of all trades/master of none and am obsessed with trying everything out for myself.
